We have made some fun changes to the PTA this year. One of those changes is what we sign up for. We no longer have a 'general' PTA committee. We hope to make the PTA easier for everyone this year, so we will now have individual committees for each event that happens at Rees! So pick them all, or just the ones that you want to help out with. Here is a list of all the committees you are able to sign up for during registration for the 2010/2011 school year:

4) Box Tops Committee
5) Carnival Committee
6) Green Ribbon Week Committee
7) Jump-A-Thon Committee
8) Parent/Child Activity Committee

11) Room Helper Committee
12) School Picture Committee
13) Teacher Appreciation Committee
14) Teacher Appreciation Door Decoration Committee
15) Teacher Birthday Treat Committee

I'd love to help as much as I can. Is there a way to get an idea of when events are taking place and kind of an overview of what would need to be done? I am a first time mom of a school aged child and so I'm not sure what most of these event are or when they would typically take place.
